My love of food started at a very young age baking and selling pies in my hometown of Bowen Island, BC at just twelve years old. I worked in the food industry throughout high school, and attended Dubrulle Culinary School in Vancouver; specializing in baking and pastry arts. I have a background and love of visual arts, attended workshops at Emily Carr University, and have sold my paintings at local galleries and through private commissions.

For eight years I owned and operated my own bakery, Flour Bakeshop, in West Vancouver where I learned to manage a team, build a client base and effectively run a commercial kitchen. I also spent time as a back of house team member at Bacchus Restaurant, and Meinhardt’s Fine Foods among others.

My combined interest in food & art eventually led me to food styling. I have worked with well known Vancouver stylists on film and print projects for clients including: White Spot, Earls, Save On Foods, Taste Magazine, Netflix and more.
